About

If you read that short bio line in the header I’m going to bet you were like, “Dang girrrl. You do a lot of things.” While this is true, there’s a very good reason for it. Some of it has to do with #ADHD and some of it has to do with being “multi-passionate” although I don’t really like that term and feel like it is more of a copout… I’ll go into that in more detail in a podcast episode sometime. But here’s the real story…

Living in the literal middle of nowhere (hello fellow boondocks partners, from sunny Johnson, Kansas!) it can be pretty easy to wear multiple hat…

because, well if you don’t do it, who will??

And if you’re like me and you’re one of the 60 million other members of rural America I am going to bet that you are either an entrepreneur or have entrepreneurs in your family. We tend to be a “Do it my own self” sort of community and I love every bit of it. But because we can see all of the things we wish our communities had we can also tend to be serial business starters, amiright?

Well, at least that’s my story anyway.

I spent several years trying to figure out exactly what my role in this life is, and chased several shiny rocks along the way. Knowing a lot about many things but being a master of none. #classicADHD lol.

That was until I sat down and recognized that all of the things I love go together. They are me. From marketing to photography, digital design to creative writing, personal cheerleader, and business coach. All of these things go together.

But I didn’t always realize that and along my journey, I have let others talk me down and tell me that I am more like a fart in a frying pan than a business owner. I need to pick something and stick with it. Even my own family members y’all.

When I finally took the time to sit down and get to know myself with the help of my relationship with God is when it all clicked, and I understand that each of these passions is to be used simultaneously and individually to help you. I was put here, for you. I couldn’t be more honored that you have taken the time to hang out on my website and read through these ramblings. That is a manifestation of my gifts and calling. Thank you.

Prairie View Creative began as a way for me to release my creative energy while doing things that I enjoyed, and has morphed over time into an all-inclusive community for Rural Small Businesses.

As I worked with more and more individuals trying to run successful businesses in rural America, the same thing came up consistently, “We know we need to be better about marketing, but really have no idea where to even begin outside of food pics and cat videos. We just really don’t have time for this, we’re running a business.”

That’s when I decided that there was a gap that needed some attention. Marketing your business doesn’t have to be hard or time-consuming, but it does have to be planned. That is why I developed the Rural Revival Course lab just for you! In the lab, you will find a variety of courses that help you decrease the overwhelm and stage freight of content creation, develop a search engine optimized website in as little as 1 week, put the real reel into motion with a course dedicated specifically to marketing with Instagram reels, and so much more.

Each of these courses gives you everything you need to know using each strategy for local marketing, as well as wider scale marketing across the worldwide interwebs. You asked for it, I created it for you. Thanks for the teamwork!
